About us – Vallåsens Värdshus

Vallåsens Värdshus is run by the sisters Moa Källén and Mimi Oskarsson. The business has been part of the family since 2003, and you will notice that many family members and friends are involved in one way or another when you visit us.

Perhaps it’s because we truly care about our business and our guests. Perhaps it’s because we tease each other a little or laugh together. Perhaps it’s because you might see the same person making beds, serving food, and checking in guests all in a single day. No one who works here is here by chance. We are friends, siblings, parents, cousins, neighbours, and partners – and we genuinely enjoy each other’s company.

Vallåsens Värdshus, a member of the Swedish Tourist Association (STF), has 22 rooms with capacity for up to 64 guests. We are not a traditional hotel, nor are we a traditional hostel. We are something in between — a relaxed place in nature where you can be yourself and experience what we consider a luxurious and joyful way of living.
